About Us
Since inception, AIC has been a strong, stable workers’ compensation source
for many South Carolina employers. The company has grown steadily expanding
into four other states, while maintaining a conservative
approach to management and reinsurance placement. Those same practices have
allowed AIC to continue to improve the terms of its reinsurance agreements
with its reinsurance partners. AIC’s reinsurance agreements provide
protection from $350,000 to $10,000,000 on a per occurrence basis.
AIC began as a single state provider of workers’ compensation in South Carolina
in a very difficult market place and has grown into a provider of diverse
insurance products throughout the southeast. In 2008, AIC will service over
7,500 policyholders throughout the Southeast. AIC’s target markets include
construction, retail, wholesale and light manufacturing.

AIC has secured reinsurance through various A-rated A M Best reinsurors. AIC has
limited it's exposure on any single claim to $350,000 with reinsurance up to
$10,000,000.
