Accident Insurance Company, Inc (AIC) is a South Carolina domestic property and
casualty insurer with certificates of authority in four other states. AIC has been capitalized since 2002 to write workers’ compensation, general liability,
and private passenger automobile insurance. AIC received a financial stability
rating of A (Exceptional) from Demotech, Inc. and expects to write $40 million in
premium in 2008 as it continues to expand its certificates of authority with applications
pending in 15 additional states.

AIC offers its insurance products strictly through licensed independent insurance
agents that are contracted with its exclusive marketing facility,
Appalachian Underwriters,
Inc. for our Workers' Compensation and Commercial Programs.
